Halo 5 in striking 1080p

Fans of the Halo series have a lot to look forward to, as 343 Industries is releasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection this year, and Halo 5: Guardians next year. The Master Chief Collection is the first four games, leaving out Halo Reach. Basically the previous Halo games are getting an upgrade to look great on the Xbox One. From what can be seen so far, it is clear that the graphics have significantly improved on all of them.

Still, Halo 5: Guardians is going to be built on a newer game engine that is much more advanced. The Master Chief Collection is definitely something to look forward to on November 11, as there are still a large amount of players who enjoy the first two games of the series. Halo 5: Guardians is expected to arrive in stores in fall of next year.

Frank O’Connor, who is the franchise director of 343 Industries, has recently answered a fan’s question on NeoGAF forums about Halo 5. Saying that, “Halo 5: Guardians is a bigger effort than Halo 4. That applies to the content and scope of the game, as well as the technology in what’s now a brand new and more powerful engine.”

343 Industries is basically saying the new game engine has more capabilities and takes “full advantage of the Xbox One’s hardware.” Frank O’Connor made it clear that Halo 5 is going to be an awesome Halo experience, if not the best so far. Halo 4 was impressive, as the story was engaging and the new weapons were well received.

To see them upgrading them all for the Master Chief Collection is good news, as they are all still great games to play online. If you can’t wait for Halo 5 then consider purchasing the Master Chief Collection, as it is coming with a nice surprise with the intentions of boosting video game sales. When you purchase The Master Chief Collection you will get access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta, so you might be able to play the game sooner than you originally thought.
