Naples Saint Patrick’s Parade - One Year Ago Today

Thirty-Eight years ago a group of fun-loving Neapolitans got together and decided to have a parade to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, which evolved into The Naples Saint Patrick’s Foundation Inc. The event welcomes everyone to attend and support Naples’ premier winter event The 38th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, to be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 in Downtown Naples at 11:00am

Through the hard work of many volunteers and the generous support of their patrons, the Parade has prospered in the decades since.

The Parade is now the largest privately-funded Parade in the state. It draws over 40,000 people to downtown Naples each year to celebrate Irish heritage and Irish culture in America.

In 2010 The Naples Saint Patrick’s Foundation Inc.  became a 501 (c) 3 non-profit foundation in an effort to better serve the community.

The Foundation continues to harness the power of the great annual event in order to meet their stated goals and honor the mission statement:
• Support high school music programs throughout Southwest Florida
• Provide College scholarships to deserving young students, and
• Increase awareness and appreciation of Irish culture.

On March 1st we will present “An Evening in Ireland II” featuring Ciaran Sheehan and soloist Sarah Phisterer.
